BELLEVUE - Seattle U baseball dropped the series finale to California Baptist, 0-13, Saturday morning at Bannerwood Park. The Redhawks dropped the series two games to one after getting the opening win on Friday.
The Redhawks were stifled at the plate by a 1-hit pitching performance by the Lancers. The lone hit for Seattle U came in the bottom of the seventh inning when Derek Gellos sent a ground ball through the infield.
California Baptist was able to backup their pitching performance with a big output at the plate, scoring a run in all but one inning as they went on to pickup the seven inning win.
The Redhawks will now look to bounce back with a trip to Phoenix to take on Grand Canyon starting Thursday, May 19.
