2009: Jodie started in 27 of the 32 games she appeared in as a freshman. She finished the season with 18 hits including four doubles, 11 runs batted in, 8 walks, and 13 runs scored. Jodie had a double with three runs batted in and two walks in her second start, in a February 15th matchup with Loyola Marymount.

Valhalla HS: As a middle infielder for the Norsemen, Jodie was a three-time all-league performer as well a three-time Valhalla High School Female Athlete of the Year. She also earned the Marine Corps Distinguished Female Athlete of the Year Award and helped her squad to a CIF title. Jodie is a two-time San Diego Union All-Academic Team member and was named All-Academic Student-Athlete in her high school four times.

Personal: Born January 24, 1990, Jodie is the daughter of Landis Schmehr and Kim Babcock and has one younger brother and three younger sisters. She is majoring in nursing.
