The Seattle University men's soccer program will be hosting an Elite Soccer Camp Monday, July 20 through Wednesday, July 22, for boys entering grades 10-12 at the Starfire Soccer Complex in Tukwila, Wash.

Campers will receive technical and tactical instruction in a demanding, yet fun and encouraging environment. Individuals are placed in groups with participants of similar age, size, and ability to ensure the best possible training environment. Separate goalkeeping sessions are conducted within the camp.

Run by the Seattle University men's soccer coaching staff, the camp offers a demanding training environment that is catered to the player seeking to compete at the elite level. Players will be exposed to the next level of soccer as well as be introduced to Seattle University. College seminars will occur daily familiarizing kids with the college soccer experience and demands. Specific goalkeeper training will be led by Brian Gill, Seattle University men's soccer goalkeeper coach, and current Seattle University goalkeepers.

Due to renovations at Championship Field, the soccer sessions will be held at the Starfire Soccer Complex, the practice facility for the Seattle Sounders FC of the MLS. Those choosing the residential option will stay in one of the residence halls at Seattle University. Campers are asked to bring soccer shoes for both grass and turf, shin guards, a water bottle, and a soccer ball. A meal card will be provided for arranged meals during the camp schedule.

The cost of the camp is $450 for the residential option and $350 for the commuter option. Checks should be made payable to: Seattle University Men's Soccer.
