KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Seattle University men’s soccer earned a 2018-19 United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award, the organization announced on Thursday. The Redhawks compiled a 3.11 team grade point average for the 2018-19 academic year.

To qualify for the award, teams must compile a 3.0 cumulative grade point average for the school year.

SU has earned the recognition in consecutive years and in four of the last six seasons.

Coach Pete Fewing, now in his 26th season, guided the Redhawks to a sixth straight 11-win season in 2018. Seattle U is one of just four Division I programs to win at least 11 games in each of the last six years.
