SEATTLE – Seattle University men’s soccer’s match against the University of Washington on Sunday, Sept. 15, will be broadcast live on ROOT Sports. The WAC/101 Club Cup will be on the line in the 6 p.m. kickoff at Championship Field.

Seattle U is 1-1-2 through four games in 2019. It tied No. 2 Indiana, 0-0, on Sunday at Notre Dame’s Mike Berticelli Memorial Tournament. Akili Kasim collected his third shutout of the season, including his second against ranked opposition.

UW sports a 4-0-0 mark, including a 1-0 win at Michigan on Sunday. The Huskies have taken down two ranked foes, having knocked off Denver and Michigan State early in 2019.

Coach Pete Fewing’s squad is the reigning WAC/101 Club Cup champion after winning at Washington, 2-0, on Sept. 23, 2018. Noe Meza and Declan McGlynn both scored in the shutout at UW. SU also beat the Huskies in the 2017 NCAA Tournament, 3-2 in overtime.
