SEATTLE (Nov. 17) - Seattle University women’s basketball hosts UCSB on Friday, Nov. 18. Tip-off for the non-conference game is slated for 7 p.m. at the Connolly Complex.
At the contest, the Seattle U SAAC will host a Holiday Toy Drive event. Fans who bring a toy to donate will receive a discounted ticket to the game. Those who donate will be entered to win a prize pack at the game.
From the SAAC,
“Every year Western Athletic Conference universities compete to raise funds for a Holiday Toy Drive. After the collection period ends, SAAC members will congregate to purchase and deliver toys to local children and families-- this year the Toy Drive will be benefiting Seattle Rotary Boys and Girls Club. Although the overall goal is to collect the most donations in the WAC, it is most important to give back to the families within our community. As student-athletes, this is a way for us to not only give back to the community, but to reflect on our own privileges, and appreciate the opportunities we have been given. You can join us in our mission to give back to the community by donating at any of the following locations/events:
1st Floor Seattle University Student Center – Thursday, Nov. 17 12-2 p.m.
Women's Basketball - Seattle University Connolly Center: Friday, Nov. 18 at 7 p.m.
Men's Basketball - Key Arena: Thursday, Dec. 1 at 7 p.m.
Women's Basketball - Seattle University Connolly Center: Friday, Dec. 2, at 7 p.m.”
