Seattle University women’s basketball (2-2) will be on the road for the majority of Thanksgiving week, starting with a contest at Idaho on Monday at 6 p.m. After the early week contest in Moscow, the Redhawks head to LMU later this week for the LMU Thanksgiving Classic.

Ashlyn Lewey (Spokane, Wash.) and Taelor Ross (Vancouver, Wash.) are averaging a team-high 13.0 ppg for the Redhawks while Lewey and Ross have also grabbed a squad-leading 7.5 and 7.3 rpg, respectively.

Idaho is 2-0 coming into Monday’s game, with a 64-42 win vs. UC Santa Barbara on Nov. 15 and a 106-50 win vs. CSU Northridge most recently (Nov. 20). The Vandals are led in scoring by Geraldine McCorkell (14.5 ppg) while Ali Forde (9.5 rpg) leads the team in rebounding. Forde also has a team-high 3.5 blocks per game while Karlee Wilson has 4.0 steals per game.

The Redhawks and Vandals have a storied recent history as Western Athletic foes up until two seasons ago. After SU won their first WAC Regular Season title in 2012-13, the teams faced in two straight WAC tournament title games. Idaho leads the all-time series, 8-5, but Seattle U leads the series in Moscow, 3-2.
