2016-17: Set school record in 100 breaststroke, swimming a 53.67 at WAC Championships (Feb. 24)...tallied a 20.44 to lead off the 200 freestyle relay at WAC Championships (Feb. 23), posting the second-best 50 freestyle time in program history...logged a 45.38 to lead off the 400 freestyle relay at WAC Championships (Feb. 25), good for the second-fastest 100 freestyle time in SU history...put up second-best 200 breaststroke performance in school history, swimming a 1:59.10 at WAC Championships (Feb. 25)...helped 200 medley relay set SU record with a 1:29.27 effort at WAC Championships (Feb. 22)...member of 400 medley relay that swam a 3:16.87 at WAC Championships (Feb. 24), breaking a school mark...named Seattle U Male Student-Athlete of the Year...WAC All-Academic.

2013-14: At WAC Championships, swam second leg of 800 freestyle relay with split of 1:39.71 as team finished seventh in 6:41.36 ... qualified for "C" final in 50 freestyle with morning time of 20.56 seconds, then finished fifth in race and 21st in event with evening time of 20.57 seconds ... led off 200 freestyle relay with split of 20.63 seconds as team finished seventh in 1:21.95 ... qualified for "B" final in 100 breaststroke with preliminary time of 55.74 seconds, then won race to finish ninth overall in event in 55.60 seconds ... anchored 400 medley relay to sixth place finish in 3:19.40 with 100 freestyle split of 44.48 seconds ... qualified for "C" final in 100 freestyle with morning time of 45.47 seconds, then finished fourth in race and 20th overall with evening time of 45.51 seconds.
At Husky Invitational Dec. 6-8, anchored 200 medley relay to third place with split of 20.51 ... finished sixth overall in 200 freestyle in 1:43.99 after preliminary time of 1:42.29 ... finished sixth overall in 100 breaststroke in 56.77 seconds after preliminary time of 57.25 seconds ... posted time of 46.70 seconds in 100 freestyle preliminaries ... swam second leg of 400 freestyle relay to fifth place finish with split of 46.59 seconds.
On Oct. 19 versus CSUB and GCU, Schelling swam 50 freestyle in 21.70 ... anchored for third place in 400 freestyle relay with a total relay time of 3:07.57 ... swam fourth leg in 200 medley relay with total relay time of 1:34.97.
High School: Schelling was a four-year letterwinner at Centennial High School, leading the Patriots to both district and state titles earlier this year. He would finish second in both the 50 freestyle and 100 freestyle as well as win the 200 medley relay at the state championships.
Club: In just over two years with the Boise Y Swim Team, Schelling would own the team records in the 200 individual medley along with being a part of the top marks in the 200 medley relay, 400 medley relay, and 800 freestyle relay.
Personal: Schelling is the son of Bob and Amy Schelling, and he has an older sibling named Courtney and a younger sibling named Camree. He is majoring in biology.
