2016-17: Recorded seventh-fastest time in SU history with a 49.78 in 100 butterfly (Feb. 24) at WAC Championships...swam on 400 freestyle relay team that notched the fifth-best time in school history (3:02.78) at WAC Championships (Feb. 25).

2014-15: Posted times of 22.20 seconds in 50 freestyle and 49.25 seconds in 100 freestyle against CSU Bakersfield on Nov. 8 ... At Husky Invitational, finished 100 butterfly in 52.16 seconds and 100 backstroke in 55.97 seconds.

2013-14: At WAC Championships, swam third leg of 200 medley relay with split of 22.08 seconds as team finished seventh in 1:31.92 ... finished 35th in 50 freestyle preliminaries in 21.74 seconds ... qualified for "C" final in 100 butterfly with preliminary time of 50.76 seconds, then finished fourth in race and 20th overall in event with evening time of 50.38 seconds ... finished 28th in 100 freestyle preliminaries with time of 47.33 seconds.

At Husky Invitational Dec. 6-8, swam third leg of "B" 200 medley relay with split of 23.09 seconds ... finished 21st overall in 100 butterfly in 52.63 seconds after preliminary time of 52.12 seconds ... posted time of 48.35 seconds in 100 freestyle prelims ... led off 400 freestyle relay to fifth place finish with split of 48.34 seconds.

On Oct. 19 versus CSUN and GCU, Cox swam 50 freestyle for 22.52 ... finished 11th in 100 freestyle with a time of 48.95 ... swam third leg in 200 medley relay with a total relay time of 1:38.28.

High School: Cox swam for four years at Tahoma High School, claiming four school records while swimming for the Bears. He holds top times in the 100 fly, 100 free, 200 medley relay, and 400 freestyle relay, he placed fourth in the 4A state championships in 2012, and he was named Team MVP 2009-2012 as well.

Club: Cox is a member of the Issaquah Swim Team, breaking 12 of the club's short and long course records and tallying a handful of top-10 finishes in club championship meets.

Personal: Cox is the oldest son of Kiti and David Cox, and he has two younger brothers named Nicholas and Lucas. His father David played basketball at Carleton College. Born in Stillwater, Minn., Cox is majoring in marketing.
