2017 SCHEDULE | GET INVOLVED | DONATE

SEATTLE – (Aug. 30) Redhawks' cross country is set to open its season under new Head Coach Kelly Sullivan on Friday at the UW- Seattle U Dual. The meet will be held at Magnuson Park, with the men running a four-and-a-half-mile loop course and the women running a three-mile loop course.

"The culture here is incredible, these men and women are passionate about running and one of the closest male/female teams I've seen," Sulivan said. "We will use Friday as an icebreaker. We are going to only race those who are 100 percent (or very close), but it's also an opportunity for everyone to watch and take a spectators view, observing and learning from the other athletes."

Both the men and women cross country teams are returning nine runners and adding three freshman for the 2017 season.

The women’s race begins at 4:00 p.m. PT, while the men’s race will start at 4:30 p.m. PT. Magnuson Park is located at 7400 Sand Point Way NE, in Seattle.
