SEATTLE - (Jan. 5) Women's tennis Head Coach Adam Reeb announced the addition of Lily-Ana Kreutzer to the team on Friday.
Kreutzer is from Kelowna, British Colombia where she attended Okanagan Mission Secondary School. Kreutzer also attended Northern Colorado University for two years before coming to Seattle U. While at Northern Colorado, Kreutzer recorded a singles record of 6-4 and added a 5-3 record in doubles matches. Kreutzer was a part of the British Colombia U16 team that competed in the Canadian Nationals in Toronto.
Kreutzer was a top-10 prospect in British Colombia and a top-100 prospect in both Canada and Southern California. Kreutzer is majoring in communications with a minor in media studies. She plans to work in public relations.
"We're so excited to have Lily-Ana joining our program," Head Coach Reeb said. "She is exactly the type of student-athlete we want here. She is a hard worker who will help lead the team by example. Lily-Ana fits in with our culture perfectly and she is someone who will instantly make us better through her positivity and energy. We're very excited to get our spring season going soon."
Redhawks women's tennis start their campaign on Friday, January 19 at the Tennis Center at Sandpoint when they face South Dakota.
