BANDON, Ore. – (Mar. 14) Seattle U men's golf dropped strokes each day of the Bandon Dunes Championship on its way to a seventh place finish at Old MacDonald Course at Bandon Dunes Golf Resort.

The Redhawks finished with a three-round team score of +12 876 (298-293-285) on the par 72, 6,893-yard course. Leading the way for SU were Joe Harvie and Zack Overstreet who each shot a one-over 217 to tie for 18th overall.

Harvie shot a 79 to open play, but cleaned up his game to shoot a two-under 70 on day two and a four-under 68 on Tuesday. Overstreet had his best round in the opener, shooting a two-under 70. He followed with rounds of 75 and 72.

Ross Kukula finished with a five-over 221 (72-77-72), followed by Patrick Sato with a score of 225 (77-75-73) and Michael Almonte with a score of 230 (79-73-78).

Seattle U is back in action March 27-28 at The Duck Invitational hosted by Oregon at the Eugene Country Club.
