2009: Lauren appeared in 25 games for the Redhawks as junior, making four starts. She went 1-for-2 with a run batted in and run scored April 4th at Simon Fraser.
2008: Lauren appeared in 18 games, including three starts at shortstop. In her first career start against Saint Martin's on Feb. 29, she went 2-for-3 with a run scored and a run batted in. Lauren earned her first career extra-base hit with a double at Northwest Nazarene on March 14. She was perfect in the field in 21 chances.
Hanford HS: Lauren was an all-league preformer all four years at Hanford. She was selected all-area in 2006 and 2007, all-state in 2005, 2006, and 2007, and was her team MVP in 2005, 2006, and 2007. She led the Falcons to league championships in 2004, 2005, and 2006, district championships in 2004 and 2005, regional championships in 2004 and 2005, and a berth in state in 2004, 2005, and 2007. While at Hanford Lauren had a career .347 batting average and ERA's of 0.79 as a sophomore, 0.83 as a junior, and 1.57 as a senior.
Personal: Lauren's major at Seattle is business with a minor in chemistry. Born June 8, 1989, her parents are Jim and LeeAnn Carlson.
