Career Summary: Concluded his two-year career with 62 total games played... started every game during his two years... averaged 13.5 points, 4.8 rebounds and 4.0 assists per game... totalled 839 points, 295 rebounds and 247 assists...

2016-17: Preseason All-WAC First Team selection... one of three players to start all 30 games... averaged 14.3 points, 4.2 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 1.8 steals per game... led the team in ppg and mintues played (32.6)... shot 40.3 percent from the field, 32.4 percent from three and 83.3 percent from the free-throw line... scored in double figures 22 times... hit the 20-point mark six times... set a career-high in points scored four times... poured in 24 points in a double-overtime game at Eastern Washington (Nov. 22)... went on to score 26 points in a rematch with the Eagles in KeyArena (Dec. 4)... scored 28 points in a thrilling win at UC Santa Barbara (Dec. 30)... poured in 29 points against UTRGV (Jan. 28)... was named WAC Player of the Week (Dec. 26-Jan. 1) following his performance at UCSB... led the team in scoring 10 times... dished five or more assists seven times, including matching a career-high with nine at Chicago State (Feb. 9)...

2015-2016: In Westendorf's first season playing for Seattle University, he started all 32 games for the Redhawks. As a redshirt junior he led the team in minutes played (32.2 per game), scoring (12.8 per game), assists (4.3 per game) and steals (1.8 per game). Hit two game-winning shots against Chicago State and Utah Valley, both WAC battles, both at KeyArena. Scored his season-high 23 points in the WAC Tournament in Vegas versus UTRGV in route to a 75-52 win that sent the Redhawks onto semifinals. Following the season Brendan was named to the Second Team All-WAC, All-Defensive Team, and All-Newcomer Team.

Community College: Before transferring to Seattle University Brendan played for the Big Bend Vikings. Is Big Bend’s all-time leading scorer (1,625 points) and won back-to-back NWAC East Region MVP awards and was named NWAC’s basketball athlete of the year in 2014. During the 2013-2014 season at Big Bend he averaged 29.5 points, 7.0 rebounds, and 4.4 assists.

Personal: Born in Kent, Wash., Westendorf is the oldest of three. His sister (Bralen) plays basketball at Tacoma Community College, and brother (Bobbi) was a track athlete prior to injuries forcing him to forego his sports career. Brendan’s father (Lance) played at Big Bend Community College as well. Brendan is currently majoring in Interdisciplinary Liberal Studies as Seattle University.
