High School: Cornett graduated from Henry M. Jackson High School in Mill Creek, Washington, where he qualified for Districts and State his freshman through junior years. Cornett was the 4A State Champion in 2012 (his junior year). That same year, he also was named All-Wesco First Team. In 2012, Cornett was also named Athlete if the Week through the Everett Herald and was Team Captain of his high school team. Cornett golfed in the Northwest Junior Golf Tour 2012, was the Seattle Junior Open Champion, the Snohomish County Amateur Junior Champion, and was an alternate for the United States Amateur. Cornett was the 2012 WIAA 4A State Champion, and was the 2012 Bill Egbers Memorial Champion. Cornett represented team Washington at Hogan Cup 2012.
Personal: Full name Kyle Nathaniel Cornett. Cornett was born in Edmonds, Washington, and his parents are Rochelle and Ken Cornett and also has two older brothers, Joshua and Jacob. In high school, he was a Congress Member, Senate Member, and House of Representative Member.
