SEATTLE – Seattle University women’s soccer has announced the signing of Kacey LaBoda for its Class of 2019. The Redhawks won the 2018 WAC Tournament and played in their fourth NCAA Tournament since 2013 this fall.
LaBoda is from Granite Falls, Wash. She was a team captain for Washington Rush, helping the squad win the National Premier League title in 2016. As a member of Lake Stevens High’s team, LaBoda was chosen 2017 All-WESCO 4A Second Team.
"Kacey is a college-ready athlete with a very high ceiling," said Coach Julie Woodward. "She has a big future in our back line and will compete right away because of her next-level athleticism."
