NORFOLK, Va. – (June 19) Seattle University women’s swimming claimed College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Scholar All-America honors, according to the organization. SU put together a 3.55 grade point average during the 2017-18 campaign.
The CSCAA recognizes teams that record a team GPA of 3.0 or higher.
There were 175 Division I programs honored this year. Seattle U’s 3.55 GPA tied for 43rd in the nation.
In the 2017-18 season, Coach Craig Nisgor led the Redhawks to their first-ever win over a Pac-12 program, as SU beat Oregon State at the Redhawk Center. Eight student-athletes picked up Academic All-WAC accolades this year.
