SEATTLE – (April 9) Seattle University swimming will host its annual banquet to recognize the 2017-18 season on Saturday, April 28. The event will be held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel.

The men and women put together strong seasons in 2017-18. On the men’s side, the Redhawks recorded 28 all-time top-10 showings, including four new school records. They tallied a top-10 time in all five relay events and 94 percent of the roster posted at least one personal best time on the season. SU will honor its four seniors-Jack Baldoni, Morgan Montemayor, Ben Nussbaum, and Julian Morales-on the 28th.

For the women, Paige Treff led the way with three new school records. She took bronze in the 50 freestyle at the WAC Championships, breaking the program record three times in one day. The 200 freestyle relay squad of Treff, Allison Plamondon, Jennifer Wong, and Margaux Thompson also claimed bronze at the conference meet. SU logged 19 all-time top-10 times at the WAC Championships, as 94 percent of the team clocked at least lifetime best effort. Treff, Lydig, and Maddie Dickman will be recognized at the banquet.
