FEDERAL WAY, Wash. – (Dec. 2) Bryn Lasher of Seattle University women’s swimming set a school record in the 100 butterfly at the 69th Annual Husky Invitational Saturday, leading the Redhawks on a solid day of competition.

“Bryn had a really solid swim on two days rest,” said Coach Craig Nisgor. “We have a lot of people swimming well and we’re seeing a lot of lifetime bests this weekend. Hopefully, this will set us up a great second half of the season.”

Lasher set a school record in the 100 butterfly, touching in 55.58 to take 11th in the final Saturday. She improved her previous personal best by nearly two seconds in the event.

In the same race, Maddie Rapp posted a 57.40 time in prelims, the ninth-best time in school history.

Emily Bakewell posted a 4:32.00 in the 400 IM finals, tallying the fifth-fastest time in SU history.

In the 100 backstroke, Allison Plamondon put up a 58.76 performance in prelims, collecting the ninth-best time in program history.

The Husky Invite wraps up tomorrow with preliminaries in the morning and finals in the afternoon.
