MISSION HILLS, Kan. – (Apr. 21) Seattle University women's golf shot a three-round team score of 914 to place third at the 2017 Western Athletic Conference Championship at Indian Hills Country Club in Mission Hills, Kan.

In a tight race atop the standings, New Mexico State clinched the team title for the fourth consecutive year with a three-round total of 907. UMKC took second with a score of 912.

Ellen Brantberg was the top individual finisher for the Redhawks, placing in a tie for ninth with a 19-over 229. The senior, who earned Second Team All-WAC honors for her finish, shot a seven-over 77 in the first round on Wednesday and followed with back-to-back rounds of 76 on Thursday and Friday.

Fellow senior Jamie Huo also tied for ninth with a 19-over 229 (78-73-78). Classmates Dorsey Addicks and Alexus Song tied for 13th at 20-over 230. Addicks carded rounds of 77, 82 and 71 while Song turned in scores of 78, 78 and 74.

Sophomore Yen Ting Wong rounded things out with a 25th-place finish and a score of 236 (76-80-80).
