MARICPOA, Ariz. – (Apr. 7) Seattle University women's golf closed out its regular season competition with an 11th place finish at the Wyoming Cowgirl Classic contested at the Ak-Chin Southern Dunes GOlf Club in Maricopa, Ariz., Thursday and Friday.

Alexus Song was the Redhawks' top individual finisher, placing 23rd overall with an eight-over 224 (78-74-72). The senior lowered her 18-hole score every round, finishing with an even-par 72 on Friday.

Classmate Dorsey Addicks tied for 29th overall with a 10-over 226 (75-74-77) and fellow senior Ellen Brantberg tied for 41st overall with a 13-over 229 (81-74-74). Jamie Huo and Yen Ting Wong rounded out the five competing players for Seattle U, finishing tied for 68th (19-over 235) and tied for 70th (20-over (236), respectively.

As a team, the Redhawks lowered their score each round, finihsing with a 45-over 909 (309-302-298). UC Irvine won the team title with a 10-over 874.

Next up for Seattle U is the Western Athletic Conference Championships being contested Apr. 19-21 at theIndian Hills Country Club in Kansas City, Mo.
