RIVERSIDE, Calif. – (Feb. 14) Seattle University women's golf opened its spring slate with an 11th-place finish at the Battle at the Rock Tournament hsoted by UC Riverside at the Oak Quarry Golf Club.

Senior Alexus Song was the Redhawks' top individual finisher, shooting 75-73-80 for a 12-over 228 on the par-72, 6,079-yard course. Her seocn-dround plus-one 73 was the lowest individual round among the five competing Redhawks.

Senior Jamie Huo was Seattle U's next best finisher, earning a tie for 27th with three-round score of 234 (80-74-77).

As a team, the Redhawks finished with a three-round total of 939 (318-303-318). Cal Poly took the team title with a score of 903. Hawaii was the runner-up with a team total of 909.

The Redhawks are back in action March 3-4 at the Red Rocks Invitational, hosted by Northern Arizona at Oak Creek Country Club in Sedona, Ariz.
