SEATTLE – Seattle University women's rowing wrapped up the 2018-19 season at the Windermere Cup Saturday at the Montlake Cut on Lake Washington.

The Redhawks raced their varsity 8+ lineup in the Women's Collegiate Open 8+ race, finishing second among the four teams. After leading the first 500 meters, Seattle U dropped slightly into second and maintained advantage over third-place Washington and fourth-place Puget Sound for the duration of the race. Seattle Pacific would win the race.

"The Windermere Cup is always a great race to end the season," said Head Coach Jenny Park. "We are a young team, so I am excited to see where we can take this program next year, and looking forward to integrating our incoming class."
