CSCAA RELEASE

NORFOLK, Va. (June 27) – Jack Baldoni of Seattle University men’s swimming has been named a 2018 College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Scholar All-America Honorable Mention. The senior is the second Redhawk to earn the honor in the last two seasons.

From the organization's release, “These students have similarly achieved a GPA of 3.50 and achieved a "B" time standard or competed at a regional or zone qualifying meet.”

Baldoni, a sport and exercise science, put together a stellar senior campaign. He swam a 47.39 in the 100 butterfly at the WAC Championships in February. The performance was good for an NCAA “B” cut and broke Baldoni’s previous school record.

Last year, Tanner Schelling was a Scholar All-American Honorable Mention selection.
