NORFOLK, Va. – (June 19) Seattle University men’s swimming earned College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Scholar All-America honors, as released by the organization this week. The Redhawks compiled a 3.19 grade point average during the 2017-18 season.

The CSCAA recognizes teams that record a team GPA of 3.0 or higher. Ninety-seven Division I programs were honored this year. SU stood in the top half of the rankings, as its 3.19 GPA was tied for 43rd nationally.

Coach Craig Nisgor guided the Redhawks to 28 all-time top-10 performances in the SU records books this season. Seven student-athletes were chosen Academic All-WAC this winter.

The CSCAA will announce its individual scholar-athletes next week.
