The Seattle University Spirit Squad will hold tryouts April 20-22 to start putting together the team that will be supporting Seattle U Athletics during its first year in the Western Athletic Conference.
The Seattle U Spirit Squad consists of a coed cheerleading team and dance team that attends all home basketball games, joins the men's and women's basketball teams for several road games, and also performs at other SU athletic and social events. The Seattle U Spirit Squad can also be seen at numerous citywide events including parades, non-pro-t events, and community festivals.
There will be an informational meeting Saturday, April 14, at 2 p.m. in the Connolly Center. Tryouts will take place at the Connolly Center over a three-day span: Friday, April 20, from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.; Saturday, April 21, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.; and Sunday, April 22, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
