2019 Outdoor: Academic All-WAC... had the 16th-best time in the WAC for the outdoor 400m dash at the Bryan Clay Invitational with a personal-best 50.39… ran the 400m dash in 51.04 at the St. Martin’s Jay Hammer Invitational… with the 4x100m relay team, took fifth place with a time of 43.22 at the Mike Fanelli Track Classic… at the Doris Heritage Track Festival, ran a personal-best 23.58 in the 200m dash.

2019 Indoor: Academic All-WAC... had a personal-best 50.58 in the 400m dash at the WAC Indoor Track and Field Championships… posted a time of 51.61 in the 400m dash at the Last Chance College Elite.

High School: Gonzalez finished his high school career on a strong note, reaching the Sac-Joaquin DII-DIII finals in 2017 and taking the section championship in 2018… posted personal best times in each of his last five 200m races… along with his teammates, Gonzalez holds the Rio Americano High School record for the 4x100m relay… in addition to track, he boasts several accomplishments from his time on the basketball team, where he received the Coach’s Award as a freshman and Defensive Player of the Year as a sophomore… Rio Americano won the Capital Athletic League Championships in his first and third year, with Gonzalez making the all-tournament team as a junior… Due to their success, RAHS later appeared in the first round of the California State NorCal playoffs.

Personal: Zach Gonzalez plans to study math and physics during his time at Seattle University… his father Louis rowed for men’s crew at UC Berkeley.
