FEDERAL WAY, Wash. – Seattle University women’s swimming fell, 153-33, to Air Force Friday afternoon. Allison Plamondon won the 50 freestyle at the world-class Weyerhauser King County Aquatic Center.
“It was a great opportunity to swim at such a great facility today,” said Coach Craig Nisgor. “It was a solid meet for us. We did a lot of things well.”
Hosting a dual meet at a top-notch facility, the Redhawks looked to battle the Falcons. Plamondon grabbed gold in the 50 freestyle, swimming a 24.67 to win the event. In the 100 backstroke, Plamondon took fourth with a 1:00.82 effort.
In the 100 butterfly, Maddie Rapp finished fifth. She swam a 59.76 in the race.
Seattle U welcomes Air Force tomorrow for an 11 a.m. meet at the Redhawk Center.
