Greg Sempadian proudly joined the Seattle University Athletics staff on December 22, 2009 as Event Coordinator/Senior Administrative Assistant. His duties include organizing events and providing administrative support for the entire staff, coaches, and student-athletes.
A native of San Francisco, Greg brings a wealth of experience from the professional and college level of athletics. He worked for the San Francisco Giants at Candlestick Park as the Player Relations Coordinator from 1993-1996 and was responsible for all community development activities involving the players and staff. Greg was also Assistant Director of the Claire Lilienthal After School Program from 1996-2001.
A 1989 graduate of the McLaren School of Business at the University of San Francisco, Greg has had a passion for making a positive impact in the lives of student-athletes for many years. He served as a student trainer and intern for USF Athletics during his undergraduate career and was the recipient of the Peter Peletta award given at graduation to the senior most distinguished for unselfish and loyal service to the Athletic programs of USF.
In April of 2001, Greg re-joined the USF Athletics staff and then-USF Athletic Director Bill Hogan as an Executive Assistant. He was the recipient of the Father William Dunne Award in 2006, the highest honor bestowed on a staff member for extraordinary service to USF and the Jesuit community. From August 2006 to November 2009, Greg served as USF Athletic Development Director and was responsible for all fundraising activities and events.
