  • SU took Washington to overtime on Dec. 20, but the Huskies escaped with an 84-76 victory at Alaska Airlines Arena. The Redhawks outscored UW, 23-12, in the fourth quarter to make up an 11-point deficit and force OT.
  • Alexis Montgomery recorded her sixth consecutive double-double with 26 points and 10 rebounds at Washington. She also claimed a career-high six steals.
  • Kallin Spiller logged her first career double-double with 15 points and 10 boards at UW.
  • Entering Friday’s game, Alexis Montgomery ranks fourth nationally in points scored this season. She has 275 points in 13 games. She stands first nationally in field goal attempts (251), third in made field goals (110), fifth in double-doubles (8), seventh in rebounds per game (10.4), and eighth in defensive rebounds per game (8).
  • Seattle U pushed Pacific in an 85-73 setback on Dec. 17 at the Connolly Complex. Alexis Montgomery posted her fifth straight double-double with 25 points and 13 rebounds.
  • Alexis Montgomery earned her second WAC Player of the Week award for the period ending Dec. 17. In three games, the senior logged three double-doubles, leading SU to a 2-1 week. It is her fourth career WAC weekly honor.
  • Seattle U took a 68-60 win at Idaho on Friday night. The Redhawks allowed a season-low point total and held the Vandals to 30.9 percent field goal shooting in the contest.
  • Alexis Montgomery worked through first-half foul trouble to earn her fourth straight double-double (18 points, 11 rebounds). She has six double-doubles this season.
  • Kallin Spiller scored a career-high 14 points, including five points in the final three minutes to clinch the decision.
  • Jacinta Beckley pulled down a career-high 12 rebounds in the win at Idaho.
  • Seattle U went 2-0 on its road trip to Montana and Idaho. The Redhawks won both sides of a California road trip Nov. 17-19. That swing marked SU’s first 2-0 road trip since Dec. 19-20, 2007.
  • SU outscored Montana, 27-14, in the fourth quarter on its way to a 78-64 win at Dahlberg Arena on Dec. 13. The Redhawks shot 61.8 percent from the floor in the fourth quarter and held the Lady Griz to 27.5 percent shooting in the frame.
  • Alexis Montgomery posted 22 points and 11 rebounds for her third straight double-double in the win at Montana. She hit a career-high five three-pointers and now has five double-doubles this season.
  • Jacinta Beckley made a career-high five threes on her way to 17 points at Montana. She leads the WAC in three-point field goal percentage at 44.2 percent this season.
  • Kamira Sanders compiled 19 points, 8 rebounds, and 7 assists at Montana. Five of her assists led to SU three-pointers.
  • Through 10 games this season, Seattle U has outscored its opponents, 234-184, in the fourth period. It has a plus-4.5 margin in fourth quarters this season, tops in the WAC.
  • SU is in the midst a challenging stretch that features three games in five days in three different states and seven out of nine games on the road.
  • The Anteaters have a 6-6 mark this season, including a 92-57 win over Chapman on Dec. 19. They have already won more games this season than they did in either of the two previous campaigns.
  • UCI’s bench has been a positive this season, as the Anteaters have scored 25 or more points off the bench nine times in 12 games. It has outscored its opponents’ bench by 8.9 points per game this year.
  • The Redhawks fell, 74-65, to Nevada on Dec. 9 at the Connolly Complex. Alexis Montgomery compiled 23 points and 12 rebounds for her second straight double-double and fourth of the season.
  • Seattle U claimed an impressive 80-73 win over San Diego on Dec. 2. Jacinta Beckley scored a career-high 22 points to lead four Redhawks in double figures in the home win.
  • SU shot a season-high 56.4 percent from the field in the game, including 10-16 in the fourth quarter.
  • Alexis Montgomery earned WAC Player of the Week honors for the period ending Dec. 3. She notched 18 points and 13 rebounds for her third double-double of the season in the win over USD on Dec. 2. It is Montgomery’s third career WAC weekly award.
  • SU dropped an 87-67 decision at No. 24 Cal Nov. 30. The Redhawks played the Bears to a draw in the second half, scoring 26 points in the fourth quarter at the Haas Pavilion.
  • Alexis Montgomery scored 26 points at Cal, pushing her over the 1,000-point mark for her career. She is the 17th player in program history to achieve the feat. Montgomery ranks 11th on the career scoring list with 1,123 points. She needs 113 points to match Sylvia Shephard for 10th on the Redhawks’ list.
  • Alexis Montgomery leads the WAC in scoring (20.8), rebounding (10.4), and double-doubles (8).
  • Freshmen McKenzi Williams and Kallin Spiller made their first career starts at Cal Nov. 30. Williams scored nine points, hitting the first three three-pointers of her career. Spiller added four rebounds and three assists in 29 minutes.
  • Seattle U took a 79-53 defeat at the hands of unbeaten UC Davis on Nov. 26. Jacinta Beckley scored 15 points, while Alexis Montgomery compiled 12 points and 9 rebounds.
  • SU won a 91-77 contest with Portland State on Nov. 22. The point total is the most by a Redhawk team since Dec. 4, 2013, when SU lost, 105-100, to Oregon. The 91 points represent the most by Seattle U in a win since Dec. 17, 2010, when SU beat Sacramento State, 92-82. The last time the Redhawks scored more than 91 points at the Connolly Complex was on Dec. 28, 2008, when Seattle U defeated Cascade College, 102-28.
  • In the win over Portland State, Alexis Montgomery put up 25 points and 13 rebounds for her 13th career double-double. It marked second such effort of the season.
  • Kamira Sanders recorded 16 points and a career-high nine assists against PSU. The sophomore dished out an assist on seven Redhawk three-pointers.
  • Against Portland State, Jacinta Beckley scored a career-high 20 points and tied a personal best with eight rebounds.
  • Seattle U logged season highs in points (91), made field goals (38), field goal attempts (78), field goal percentage (.487), made threes (12), three-point field goal percentage (.500), rebounds (47), and assists (21) in victory over Portland State.
  • The Redhawks made the largest comeback in Division I program history on Nov. 17, rallying from a 21-point deficit to win, 77-71, at UC Santa Barbara. They outscored UCSB, 32-11, in the fourth quarter and ended the contest on a 10-0 run.
  • Kamira Sanders was named WAC Player of the Week for the period ending Nov. 19. She led SU with 21 points, 9 rebounds, 6 assists, and 4 steals at UCSB on Nov. 17. Sanders followed with 14 points, five assists, and four steals in the win at Pepperdine on Nov. 19.
  • Kamira Sanders recorded 21 points, including 13 in the fourth period, on 8-10 field-goal shooting against UCSB. She tied a career high with nine rebounds and set a new personal best with six assists in the win.
  • Against UCSB, Alexis Montgomery logged a double-double with 20 points and 12 rebounds. She now has 12 career double-doubles as a Redhawk.
  • In a 65-62 win at Pepperdine on Nov. 19, SU had three players in double figures and two other players with nine points.
  • SU dropped a 73-58 setback to Hawaii on Nov. 12. Alexis Montgomery and Kamira Sanders both scored in double figures in the contest.
  • In the season opener, the Redhawks fell to Idaho State, 74-69, on Nov. 10 Alexis Montgomery scored a career-high 31 points in the setback.
  • SU scored 45 points in the first half against Idaho State, the most by a Redhawk team since Dec. 15, 2015, when Seattle U dropped 46 in the first 20 minutes against Portland State.
  • Alexis Montgomery’s 31 points on Nov. 10 are the most by a Redhawk since Chelcie Morrison scored 35 points against Montana State Billings on Feb. 16, 2008.
  • Kamira Sanders tied a career high with nine rebounds against Idaho State. She pulled down nine boards last season against CSUN on Dec. 29, 2016.
  • Alexis Montgomery is the WAC Preseason Player of the Year. She earned All-WAC First Team honors after leading Seattle U in points, rebounds, and assists last season.
  • SU was voted to finish second in the WAC preseason media poll and third in the WAC preseason coaches’ poll.
  • Kamira Sanders returns after winning WAC Freshman of the Year last season. She paced conference rookies in points, assists, steals, and minutes played in 2015-16.
  • Coach Suzy Barcomb took Seattle U from a predicted seventh-place finish to the WAC Championship game last season. In her first season at SU, Barcomb guided the Redhawks to a WNIT appearance for the second time in program history.
  • SU features six newcomers this season, with five freshmen and one junior transfer joining the roster.
  • Tamara Inoue is in her second season as UCI’s head coach. Last season, she took the Anteaters to five wins.
