SEATTLE — After a two week lay-off, the Seattle University women’s swim team returns to the pool on Saturday when it crosses the border to visit Simon Fraser in head-to-head action in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. The meet is scheduled to start at 1 pm.

The Redhawks had a strong showing in their last two meets as they hosted a two-day triad meet with Loyola Marymount and Grand Canyon to open the home schedule. Danika Himes led the effort as for the Redhawks as she claimed first in four individual events en route to earning Western Athletic Conference Swimmer of the Week Honors on Oct. 22.

ABOUT THE COMPETITION:
• Simon Fraser is the only NCAA institution in Canada.
• SFU’s last meet was the season opener at the Logger Relays on Oct. 12
• The Clan appeared in last season’s NCAA Division II Championship, taking 13th overall.
• Simon Fraser is led under the direction of head coach, Liam Donnelly. Donnelly has been with the program since its inception in 1991 and was named head coach in 1992.
