SEATTLE --- Seattle U volleyball closes a three-match home on Monday when it hosts California Baptist at the Redhawk Center. First serve is slated for 6 pm.

LAST TIME OUT
Seattle U went 1-1 last week defeating Chicago State on Thursday in four, before being dealt a tough five-set loss on Saturday to Kansas City.

A GLIMPSE AT THE LANCERS
California Baptist visits the Emerald City carrying an 8-10 record overall and 2-3 mark in Western Athletic Conference play. The Lancers are coming off a 3-2 come-from-behind win on Saturday at Utah Valley.
• CBU swept the 2018 season series, winning the home-and-home with a pair of 3-1 decisions.
• The Lancers began the week ranked fifth among the WAC in hitting percentage (.195), kills per set (12.01) and digs per set (14.36), while being listed eighth in blocks per set (1.45).
• Sydney Marks is ninth among WAC leaders in kills per set (2.84). Nicole Abreu meanwhile averaging 4.14 digs per set, fifth-best among conference leaders.
• This is California Baptist's second season as member of the WAC and NCAA Division I.

WHERE WE RANK
The Redhawks began the week ranked atop the WAC in kills (954) and service aces (108), good for 29th and 51st, respectively among NCAA Division I programs. The team was also listed second on the WAC stats in blocking (180.5), third in digs (2.23) and blocks per set (2.23). Nationally, Seattle U is ranked 17th in total blocks and 32nd in team assists (887).

Seattle U will conclude its weekly slate of #WACtion on Saturday, Oct. 19 when it visits Utah Valley. First serve from Orem is slated for 11 am PT.
