SEATTLE – Continuing to add to the roster for 2019-20, Seattle University men's basketball Head Coach Jim Hayford has announced the addition of Mikkel Hauge to the Redhawk squad.

“Mikkel is a proven achiever on the court and in the classroom," Hayford said. "He holds himself to a high level of effort and accomplishment. He is a great addition to our program.”

Hauge, a 6-4 guard from Copenhagen, Denmark, has played the last two seasons for the Vaerleose Basketball Club in the Danish Basketligaen. He has also represented Denmark internationally, competing in the 2015 FIBA U16 European Championships, the 2017 FIBA U18 European Championships and the 2019 U20 European Championships. In the European Youth Basketball League, Hauge was a three-time all-star.

Hauge joins Dovy Pinskus, Trevon Allfrey, Jordan Dallas, Jaren Nafarrete, and Cade Alger as members of the 2019-20 Redhawk recruiting class.
