2019-20 SCHEDULE

SEATTLE – Seattle University women’s basketball has announced its 2019-20 schedule. SU will play 15 regular-season home games at the Redhawk Center this season.

Coach Suzy Barcomb, one of just two active coaches to lead teams to the NCAA Tournament at Division I, Division II, and Division III, will begin her fourth season as Redhawks’ head coach.

Barcomb’s squad will play an exhibition game on Oct. 30 against Puget Sound to open the season. A week later, SU hosts Saint Martin’s in the regular-season opener on Nov. 6.

The Redhawks embark on a three-game road swing in mid-November, playing at Utah State (Nov. 9), Idaho State (Nov. 11), and Northern Arizona (Nov. 16).

After returning home for a date with Idaho (Nov. 20), Seattle U heads to Washington on Nov. 23 for a local showdown with the Huskies. The Redhawks follow with a five-game home stand, as Central Washington (Nov. 26), Montana State (Nov. 30), Sacramento State (Dec. 6), Long Beach State (Dec. 8), and Warner Pacific (Dec. 14) all visit the Redhawk Center in non-conference action.

On Dec. 20, SU travels to Cal Poly for its final game before Christmas. It then heads to Cal State Fullerton (Dec. 29) for the last contest of 2019.

Seattle U tips off WAC play in January, as Kansas City (Jan. 2) and Chicago State (Jan. 4) come to the Redhawk Center. SU follows with league games at Utah Valley (Jan. 11), UTRGV (Jan. 16), and New Mexico State (Jan. 18).

To close January action, the Redhawks welcome Grand Canyon (Jan. 23) and CSU Bakersfield (Jan. 25) to Seattle. After a trip to California Baptist on Feb. 1, SU returns home for three straight conference contests. Utah Valley (Feb. 8), New Mexico State (Feb. 13), and UTRGV (Feb. 15) come to the Redhawk Center.

On Feb. 20, the Redhawks play at Grand Canyon, followed by a trip to CSU Bakersfield two days later.

Seattle U will honor its five seniors on Feb. 29, as CBU comes to the Redhawk Center for the final home date of the season. SU concludes the regular season at Chicago State (Mar. 5) and Kansas City (Mar. 7).

The 2019 WAC Tournament will be held at The Orleans Arena in Las Vegas from Mar. 11-14, with the winner earning an automatic berth in the NCAA Tournament.
