SEATTLE – Seattle University cross country has announced its 2019 schedule, featuring four regular-season meets, followed by the 2019 WAC Championships in Kansas City, Missouri.

“We are looking forward to the 2019 season,” said Coach Kelly Sullivan, entering his third season at the helm of the program. “We spent a lot of time deciding on our meet schedule and know the one we came up with will fit both of our women’s and men’s teams really well. Each meet gives us a chance to focus on training along with facing great competition each time we line up.”

On Aug. 30, SU squares off with Washington in a dual meet at Magnuson Park. Two weeks later, the Redhawks head to Colfax, Wash., for the West Region Preview.

Sullivan’s squad travels to the UW Sundodger Invitational at Chambers Bay on Oct. 5 and then concludes the regular season with the Bronco Invite on Oct. 19 in Sunnyvale, Calif.

The 2019 WAC Championships will be held at Swope Park in Kansas City on Nov. 2. The NCAA West Regional is slated for Nov. 15 in Colfax, Wash. with the NCAA Championships following on Nov. 23 in Terre Haute, Ind.

In 2018, the men placed third at the WAC Championships, while the women took seventh place.
