NORFOLK, Va. – Seattle University men’s swimming earned College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Scholar All-America recognition, according to a release from the organization Tuesday. SU posted a 3.16 grade point average through winter quarter in the 2018-19 school year.

The CSCAA honors teams that record a team GPA of 3.0 or higher.

"Coach (Craig) Nisgor has humbly built a program Seattle (and the entire Pacific Northwest) can be proud of," said CSCAA Executive Director Greg Earhart.

Seattle U tallied a 3.16 GPA this year. A total of 106 Division I programs received CSCAA accolades. Six Redhawks took Academic All-WAC honors this winter.

In 2018-19, the men established 16 individual all-time top-10 efforts at Seattle U. There were also four relay all-time top-10 swims. The Redhawks won the 2018 Husky Invitational collegiate team title on Dec. 2 to highlight the regular season.
