NORFOLK, Va. – Seattle University women’s swimming claimed College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Scholar All-America honors, according to a release from the organization Tuesday. The Redhawks recorded a 3.64 grade point average through winter quarter in the 2018-19 year.

The CSCAA recognizes teams that record a team GPA of 3.0 or higher.

"Coach (Craig) Nisgor has humbly built a program Seattle (and the entire Pacific Northwest) can be proud of," said CSCAA Executive Director Greg Earhart.

Seattle U’s 3.64 GPA tied for 22nd in the nation. There were 184 Division I programs honored this year. Eleven SU swimmers were picked Academic All-WAC this winter.

In the pool, SU totaled 14 individual all-time top-10 performances and three relay all-time top-10 times in the 2018-19 campaign.
