SEATTLE – Seattle University softball will play in its first-ever NCAA Tournament this weekend. The Redhawks are in the Seattle Regional, hosted by the University of Washington. They will play Mississippi State on Friday at 4:30 p.m. to open the double-elimination tournament at Husky Softball Stadium.

All-session tickets are available here through the UW website. Single-day tickets will be available on Wednesday at 9 a.m. Tickets are expected to be in high demand, so fans should purchase passes in advance of Friday's games.

SU will play at least one game on Saturday, depending on Friday’s results. Saturday’s games are slated for 3 p.m., 5:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. Two teams will be eliminated following Saturday’s contests, setting up Sunday’s championship round. The first game on Sunday will take place at 6 p.m. with a winner-take-all game to follow if necessary.

Seattle U is in the midst of its best season in program history, having established a new single-season wins record (39). It won its first-ever WAC regular-season crown and followed by going 3-0 at last weekend’s WAC Tournament to claim that title. SU is the first WAC team to earn a three seed in the NCAA Tournament since 2015.
