FEDERAL WAY, Wash. – Seattle University women’s swimming wrapped up competition at the 2018 Husky Invite Sunday.

"We had some strong swims today," said Coach Craig Nisgor. "We're working on a lot of things and we have things to clean up, but we have good attitudes and we're making things happen. The team is behind each other and that's how the team gets better."

Freshman Sarah Carr recorded a 52.87 in the 100 freestyle final, marking a lifetime-best swim.

Darian Himes (2:26.55) and Emma McGill (2:26.38) were just off personal-best times in the 200 breaststroke Sunday.

The Redhawks will return to action on Jan. 4-5 when they head to Whitworth for a dual meet.
