SEATTLE – (August 8) No. 22 Seattle University men’s soccer opened preseason camp on Wednesday morning, as the Redhawks returned to campus in preparation for the 2018 season. SU hosts British Columbia in an exhibition game on Monday, Aug. 13, at Championship Field.

On Wednesday, Coach Pete Fewing and his squad began fall practice at SU Park. The team will work out twice a day in preseason before hosting a pair of exhibitions next week.

The Redhawks, voted No. 22 in the United Soccer Coaches Preseason Poll, won the 2017 WAC Championship and advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament. Nathan Aune, a 2017 United Soccer Coaches Third Team All-American, leads a stellar returning cast for the upcoming season.

Seattle U plays at New Mexico on Aug. 24 to open the 2018 regular season.
