SEATTLE – (July 31) Seattle University swimming has announced its schedule for the 2018-19 season. Coach Craig Nisgor’s squads will host three competitions at the Redhawk Center, along with the annual alumni meet.

“We are excited to have another very competitive dual meet schedule,” said Nisgor. “It will be a great opportunity for our team. Not only are we swimming the top teams in our conference, but we also have some great outside competition as well. I am looking forward to seeing our team take on these challengers and also show what they can do at the Husky Invite as that has always been a great meet for us. Finishing up at the WAC meet in Houston, it is going to be a fun and fast season!”

SU’s women open their slate on Oct. 6 as Northern Colorado visits the Redhawk Center. Two weeks later, the Redhawks travel to Phoenix for a two-day meet with Grand Canyon. The women will also take on Loyola Marymount.

On Nov. 3, the Seattle U women head to Idaho to face the Vandals and Northern Arizona. SU follows with its annual alumni meet on Nov. 10 at the Redhawk Center.

Nisgor’s group hits the road for a dual in Corvallis, Ore. on Nov. 16, as the women face the Beavers and the men take on SWOCC. To wrap up 2018 action, the Redhawks will swim at the highly-competitive Husky Invite in Federal Way, Wash., from Nov. 30-Dec. 2.

After the team’s annual winter training in California, SU returns to compete at Whitworth on Jan. 4-5. From Jan. 11-12, the Redhawks will take on Air Force, as the men will also square off with Simon Fraser. Action on the first day will take place in Federal Way, with Saturday’s meet being held at the Redhawk Center.

On Feb. 2, Seattle U welcomes the Clan on senior day at the Redhawk Center. SU features five seniors this season, as Austin Barnard, Mitchell Crossen, and Ian Keane represent the men and Emily Gough and Jenessa Schulte make up the women’s class.

The 2019 WAC Championships will be held in Houston from Feb. 27-Mar. 2.
