TOURNAMENT CENTRAL 

PHOENIX - (April 17) The Seattle University women's golf team climbed up to first place after the second round of the Western Athletic Conference championship on Tuesday at the Legacy Golf Resort.

Vendela From started the day tied for first two-under par, and is now at even par after two rounds, good for third place overall. First place is three strokes ahead of From.

Keisha Lugito and Kimberlee Tottori are now tied for 5th at two-over par, Nicole Foster is tied for 11th at five-over and Linette Chua rounds out the Redhawks, tied for 17th at seven-over.

Lugito shot the best round for SU, going from a 75 in round one, to a 69 (two-under) in round two. Foster also improved from a 75 to a 72.

The Redhawks lead New Mexico State by three strokes, and the previous leader, Grand Canyon, by five strokes.

The third and final round will start tomorrow at 7:30 a.m., but the Redhawks will start teeing off at 9 a.m. You can follow live scoring HERE.
