BELLEVUE, Wash. – (Apr. 13) It was lucky 13 for Seattle University baseball on Friday the 13th as the Redhawks collected 13 hits in a 13-0, 7-inning win over Alcorn State at Bannerwood Park in Bellevue, Wash.

Senior Dalton Hurd added a bit of personal history into the game as his third hit of the game gave him a career program record of 215. Hurd surpasses Griffin Andreychuk (2014-17) who held the previous record of 214.

Following a pair of scoreless innings for both sides, the Redhawks (21-10) erupted for 10 runs on six hits and three Braves' errors in the bottom of the third. Seattle U added a single run in the fourth and two more in the fifth.

Tarik Skubal (5-0) did now allow a baserunner until the fourth inning on his way to five scoreless innings. The redshirt junior fanned eight while allowing just two hits and one walk in his fifth win of the year.

Alden Huschle pitched a pair of hitless, scoreless innings to close out the game.

Austin Lively led the Redhawks at the plate, going a perfect 4-for-4 with two runs scored and one RBI. Hurd was 3-for-3 with a run scored and one RBI. Sean Sutton and Cameron Sterne each added a pair of hits and a pair of RBIs.
