MARICOPA, Ariz. – (April 3) The Seattle University women’s golf team participated in their third consecutive tournament in Arizona this Monday and Tuesday as they competed in the Wyoming Cowboy Invitational hosted by the University of Wyoming at the Ak-Chin Southern Dunes Golf Club.

The Redhawks got off to a hot start in the first round, shooting only 2-over-par 290 as a team. The 290 in the first round was good enough for third place in the 20-team tournament. Linette Chua led the way in the round with a 2-under-par 70, which was tied for third best. The 70 is also a season low for Chua. Vendela From had an even 72, Kimberlee Tottori shot a 73, and Keisha Lugito rounded out the team score with a 75.

After the second and third round, the Redhawks finished with a score of 900, which was good for 14th place.

After playing three tournaments in Arizona in only 10 days, the Redhawks will get some time off before starting the WAC Championship in Phoenix from April 16 through the 18.
