LAKEWOOD, Wash. – (Oct. 17) Playing a lineup of five freshman, the Seattle University women's golf team took eighth place overall at its annual Pat Lesser-Harbottle Invitational, hosted at the Tacoma Country and Golf Club Monday and Tuesday.

The Redhawks finished at 75-over-par 939 (318-309-312), 30 strokes back off the tournament winner North Dakota State (+45, 909).

Freshman Vendela From was the Redhawks low scorer, finishing in a tie for 16th overall at 15-over-par 231 (77-75-79). Kimberlee Tottori tied for 21st at 16-over-par 232 (81-75-76), while Keisha Lugito tied for 23rd overall at 18-over-par 234 (80-78-76).

Nicole Foster finished tied for 53rd at 26-over-par 242 (80-81-81) and Anne Transier was 75th at 40-over-par 256 (88-87-81).

Playing as an individual, sophomore Kelly Hunt tied for 72nd at 38-over-par 254 (90-82-82).

The tournament concluded the fall portion of Seattle U's 2017-18 schedule. The Redhawks return to action Feb. 12-13 at The Gold Rush, hosted by Long Beach State at the El Dorado Park Golf Course.
