GOLD RIVER, Calif. – (May 13) Seattle University women's rowing closed out the 2017 season at the 2017 Pacific Coast Rowing Championships Saturday morning on Lake Natoma in Gold River, Calif. The Redhawks' varsity 8+ boat competed in the meet's Open 8+ race, placing second overall.

"I'm very proud of the V8 today," said Head Coach Jenny park. We had a rocky start to the season, but the girls worked so hard and pulled things together. This is a great way to end the season, especially for our seniors. They will be missed. Go Redhawks!"

Seattle U placed second in a time of 7:07.6, trailing only the Stanford Lightweights who won the race in 6:35.6.

Two of the Redhawks four seniors race on Saturday, including Meghan Ricci and Gerline Reyes.
