Head Coach Adam Reeb shared his thoughts prior to this weekend’s action.

"We've got a busy opening weekend in town, said Reeb.” “First off is a doubleheader against UW at their place. They are an extremely tough team, and they are very talented up and down their lineup. It will be a great test for our guys, especially with some freshmen who will be playing their first college dual match.

Doubleheaders are grueling physically, and we've had some unfortunate injuries plague us this year, but it gives our players twice the opportunities to compete against PAC-12 competition.

We're excited to then host our first home match of the year against Eastern Washington at Sand Point on Sunday. Eastern is another tough team who we saw a lot of in fall tournaments, so we're pretty familiar with them and know we need to play well in order to give ourselves the best chance to be successful.

The guys have been putting in the work and we're excited now to start competing and continue to strive to get better."

The following weekend the men will travel to Eugene, Ore., to take on Montana State. Their first match against the Bobcats is scheduled for Friday, January, 20th, at 11:00 AM, followed by a 9:00 AM start on Saturday, January 21st
