Seattle University women’s tennis (3-16) surrendered the doubles point before falling in all six singles matches as Grand Canyon (9-5) earned the win, 7-0, in Western Athletic Conference competition.

Gabriella Weissmann (Simi Valley, Calif.) and Sarah Lucas (Las Vegas, Nev.) came closest to a doubles victory in the No. 1 spot, but ultimately fell, 8-4.

In singles play, the Lopes defeated the Redhawks in straight sets in all six matches to earn the victory.

Seattle U closes out the regular season with two matches on Tuesday, Mar. 25 vs. Idaho State at 9 a.m. and Southern Utah at 3:30 p.m.
