Stephanie Verdoia (Salt Lake City, Utah) was named to the 2012 NCAA Division I Women's All-Pacific Region Third Team, announced by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA).

"Stephanie had a really solid season for us this year," said head coach Julie Woodward. "She got better each and every game and finished extremely strong for us. She is a very talented player and great leader. I am impressed but not surprised with the company she is in on her all-region selection."

Verdoia led the Redhawks with 10 goals, 21 points, 57 shots, 24 shots on goal, and four game-winning goals in 2012. She received several other honors for her performance this season including Second Team Academic All-District, as well as being named to the Western Athletic Conference All-Tournament Team. She was also named the WAC Offensive Player of the Week for the week of Oct. 1-7, as she scored the team's third hat trick of the season in the squad's 5-1 win over Idaho.

This is Verdoia's first such honor, as Jordan Salisbury (Federal Way, Wash.) and Julia Besagno (Maple Valley, Wash.) received the same honor last season.

The following are those who join Verdoia on the All-Pacific Region Third Team. For the full list of first, second, and third teams, visit http://www.nscaa.com/news/2012/12/2012-ncaa-division-i-women-s-all-pacific-region.
