He led Inglemoor High to a sixth-place finish in King County in 2006-07 as team captain. He averaged 17 points per game as a sophomore in 2005-06. His last year at Inglemoor, McLaughlin earned first team all league honors for KingCo 4A.

Personal: Born April 22, 1990, in San Francisco, Calif., McLaughlin is the son of Mark Anderson and Maureen McLaughlin. In his free time McLaughlin enjoys playing video games and watching football. The NBA player he emulates most is Brandon Roy.
